The location of CYCLADES Sailing’s main base is unique on the island of Syros, with the Venetian Ermoupolis, the Capital of the Cyclades islands.
The travel connections are good: you will arrive from Athens in 30 minutes by plane, or in 2 to 4 hours by ferryboat. Finikas, is our departure port from where you will start your journey in the midst of the magical world of islands.
For a more leisurely family trip in the Saronic Golf and along the beautiful East coast of Peloponnesus, you can charter a boat from our base in Kalamaki or Lavrion, in Athens. If you are attracted by a “green” trip through the Sporades islands and to Chalkidiki, we can offer you yachts from Skiathos. Also other areas, or one way charter, is possible.
Your safety comes first! We know each single yacht from our yachts’ list personally, and we pay great attention to seaworthiness, especially for the older and therefore cheaper yachts. If you book with CYCLADES Sailing, you will know the name of your yacht from that moment, and you will find this name also in the contract, including the respective equipment list.
From the mast top to the keel, from the bow to the stern, each yacht is checked through before each handing over. Syros, with Neorion, the second biggest shipyard allover Greece, is the only island which can ensure, by far, a professional yacht technical support and service including supply of spare parts.
CYCLADES Sailing is one of the few Greek charter companies, which are guaranteed and bonded by the National Greek Tourism organization EOT for the prepayments you have made.
